I'm mutating. Yesterday I had to leave the office at 3 because my stomach was itching so much, that I needed to go home and jump in the shower and cool off. Afterwards, I tried lying in bed with the fan pointed in my direction with my shirt off and I noticed my stomach turned into a giant rash. My hand started itching in the middle of the night yesterday and I started scratching it a little bit, only for the skin to turn blotchy and red just like my stomach...and now it's spread to my elbow and my thigh and under my knee. I'm supposed to go to Chiang Rai today to do a report on the living and education system of the kids living at the new Tantawan (sunflower seed) school for vocational training. That's at least 4 hours today of non-relief from the itchy madness that has apparently consumed me. I will not scratch, I will not scratch, I will not scratch.

Take one of the antihistamines I put in your dopp kit!!! Take it now. It will make you a bit drowsy, but at least you won't be itching! If you don't have any more, go get some!! And get some calamine lotion or whatever the equivalent Thai remedy is. You are clearly having an allergic reaction to something. That's why the antihistamines & NOT allergy pills! Hurry! do it now! I don't want you to come home all itchy & scratchy (he he he like the Simpsons!!!) or with welts or oozing suppurating sores all over you!

Remember, I always loved you best -- forget those others little brats in the family -- it was always you! You are the best! x0x0x0x0x

Jamie, Linda's right. Take something. Maybe you should go see one of your friendly local doctors. Did the famous anti-itch cream (we used it for mosquito bites) not help? So sorry you've got this problem.

Jamie
I had hives once and it made me downright niserable (by the way, we decided they were stress induced hives) It's the worst, and you just want to fix it and stop feeling ITCHY!
Take the antihistamine. Very important. If you can find cortizone creme, use that.
But don't listen to Linda when she says she likes you best. Obviously she's lying. She likes ME the best! ME ME ME! But I like YOU the best, so I guess we're even!
Feel better

Hey Jamie.
I don't want you mutating like that. Stop it this minute! Kathleen and Linda are probably right about it being an allergy and taking the antihistamines. ButI think you really should have a doctor take a look at you if that's at all possible. Even though I don't comment I do check the blog every day and I'm very proud of you. Don't tell Kathleen or Linda but I love you more than I love Cleo. Yr Ole Dad.
